Important News About the BNCT
"At a members' meeting on 15th September
2026 of the BNCT, it was agreed that the company will voluntarily apply to be struck off the companies register and dissolved"
The directors have started this process.
Bure Navigation Conservation Trust is a group of like minded people who love the River Bure.
Their main objective is raising the awareness and preservation of The Aylsham Navigation.
The Navigation runs from Horstead Mill through to
The Staithe at Aylsham, Norfolk.
BNCT would like to thank Margaret Bird for giving a fascinating talk at Horstead Tithe Barn, Rectory Rd, Horstead on the 23rd September 2021 from 7.30 to 9.00pm.
She gave a talk entitled:-
"Hard times for Horstead and Coltishall:
The opening of the Aylsham Navigation in 1779"
There was a small charge of £3.00 for non BNCT members and £2.00 for members
